The Missouri Department of Economic Development’s (DED) Division of Workforce Development (DWD) recently relaunched its jobs.mo.gov website.

The all-new interface provides easier functionality for jobseekers, employers and communities.  The redesigned homepage allows customers to quickly identify content that most directly relates to them, while more intuitive navigation leads to direct access to resources that customers need.  The new website also offers Spanish translation for non-proficient English speakers.

“The new jobs.mo.gov has been a huge success.  We’re reaching more jobseekers and more employers,” said Mike Downing, director of DED.  “Taking advantages of new technologies to refine and expedite the job-matching process is helping Missourians get back into the workforce faster than ever.”

In just its first two weeks, the new site has already seen more than 136,000 visitors, 49 percent of whom are new to the site.  Once on the website, jobseekers and employers can create personalized profiles to search job openings or find qualified job candidates.  Customers who had previously created a jobs.mo.gov profile can still log on to the new site using their same username and password.

Jobs.mo.gov is the state’s premier job-matching system, helping job seekers find gainful employment with family sustaining wages and providing businesses access to skilled, trained job candidates to successfully compete in the global economy.  The site offers information on local, state and federal resources that can assist through all stages of job seeking or hiring.

Jobs.mo.gov is also available on the go through the new MoJobs app, available on Androids and iPhones.
