PROPOSITION SAFE AND SECURE
“Proposition Safe and Secure – In order to meet the critical needs of law enforcement, to ensure the safety and security of Lincoln County residents and provide for the orderly and efficient administration of justice, shall the County of Lincoln impose a county-wide sales tax at the rate of one-half of one percent (1/2 of 1%) for the purpose of expanding, renovating, and maintaining county buildings and properties; which may include the county jail, sheriff’s office, justice center, and emergency communication center?”
The approval of the proposition will authorize the imposition and collection of a one-half of one percent sales tax in addition to the other sales taxes provided for by law on all retail sales made in the County which are subject to taxation.
