Troy Area Chamber of Commerce Appoints New Executive Director

Mikayla

TROY, Mo. (May 31, 2017) – The Troy Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Mikayla Tillman, as Executive Director effective immediately. The Board’s action comes with the fullest confidence that Tillman will continue to be an excellent steward of the Chamber’s mission and a leader and advocate for our community. The Board recognizes that Tillman is a leader who, with several years’ experience at the Chamber, is the right person to pursue its members’ interests and support community initiatives.

Tillman has served the Chamber for the past 4 years as the Administrative Assistant. In that position she has established an Economic Development database, enhanced marketing and design features, and has been key to the success of many programs and fundraisers including the MAYB Tournament, Memories on Main Street Car Show and Hometown Holidays. Additionally, Tillman has been instrumental with assisting the Troy Downtown Merchants as well as the Lincoln County Fair with their goals and advertising needs.

Tillman comments “I am very excited and humbled to continue this journey with the Chamber of Commerce and the Troy community. The variety and fulfillment I have already received from being a part on this organization can only improve with this opportunity, and I look forward to it!”

Board President, Mary Kay Kunza adds, “Mikayla has worked on several key initiatives important to the members of the Chamber and residents of Troy”.  “Her graphic design and marketing skills have greatly enhanced the Chamber’s online presence, social media and promotional tools. As well as provide a unique and desirable service to Chamber members.”
