will deliver the opening keynote address at the 2024 Disability Transition Planning Conference hosted by

disabilities and everyone in their support circles as they approach high school graduation and prepare for
adult life and independence.
Dr. Jameson is an organizational psychologist who uses her multidisciplinary education and experience as
the Managing Partner for grit & flow™. This purpose-driven consultancy provides a gateway to inclusive
workplaces and sustainable talent retention. Her team has received numerous grants to train job

Neurodiversity and Mental Health in the Workplace. As a neurodivergent individual, Jameson brings her
passion and expertise to foster inclusive environments. She is also a LinkedIn Learning instructor with

“Dr. Jameson is an exceptional leader and advocates for inclusive practices, making her the perfect
speaker for our conference,” said BCI Chief Program Officer of Employment Services Matt Jannings.
“Her insights into neurodiversity and her passion for empowering individuals with disabilities will inspire
and resonate with everyone attending. We’re thrilled to have her join us and share her expertise.”
New this year, the conference will also include breakout sessions on public benefits, funding sources,
guardianship, and service providers. These sessions will provide a unique opportunity for deeper
discussions and personalized Q&A in small, focused groups. Attendees will also have access to an
integrated resource fair to connect with agencies offering essential services such as housing, recreation,
funding, post-secondary education, and other advisory and advocacy groups.
“Graduating from high school can be a time of excitement but also anxiety for individuals with
disabilities and their families,” said BCI CEO Troy Compardo. “The Transition Conference is designed to
ease that angst by providing essential resources, guidance, and support to help navigate this critical life
stage. Whether you’re seeking answers, connections, or reassurance, this conference offers the tools you
need to move forward confidently.”
The conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Ameristar St. Charles Casino Resort Spa,
located at 1 Ameristar Blvd., St. Charles, Mo. 63301. It is free and includes continental breakfast and
