Author and quilt historian, Ann Hazelwood, will be the featured speaker at Zion United Church of Christ’s “Its Green, White and Read All Over,” luncheon, Saturday, December 7 at the church, 725 South Main Street in Troy.

Ann’s entertaining and informative program will give you hints into this southeast Missouri native, as an author, shop keeper, quilt lover and historian as well as her love of Christmas and of course quilts.

If you haven’t read one of her novels such as, “Quilted Christmas,“ “Quilted Lilies,” or “The Town Christmas,” this is your chance to peek into the author’s thoughts! If you love quilts this is your chance to get an eye full! If you love foods, this is your chance for a delightful lunch and even more!

Ann’s program begins at 10 a.m. in the church sanctuary, followed by a mini quilt show, luncheon and boutique. There will also be a raffle drawing for a King sized hand quilted quilt from Zion’s quilters. It’s a great way to begin enjoying the holiday season with friends, books, quilts and good food.
