BCI Expands Services with New Pallet Storage Offering at Lakeside Facility
Renting warehouse space will support employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities

Businesses in need of third-party warehousing can find a reliable solution at BCI’s new
facility in the Lakeside Logistics Center—while also supporting employment opportunities for adults with
disabilities.

(St. Louis, Mo., Feb. 19, 2025) Boone Center, Inc. (BCI)—a nonprofit that enhances the lives of adults
with disabilities through employment programs and opportunities—is now offering flexible storage at its
new auxiliary warehouse in St. Peters. With nearly 2,000 standard pallet positions and 133,000 cubic feet
available for third-party warehousing, BCI is opening this space to local businesses.

A recent relocation of the organization’s auxiliary warehouse to Lakeside Logistics Center, strategically
situated near BCI’s main packaging facility, has enabled the organization to streamline operations and
reduce costs. The expanded space allows BCI to better serve packaging clients by meeting their inbound
and outbound storage requirements.

In addition to serving its own storage needs, the added capacity at Lakeside also opened the door for BCI
to provide third-party warehousing to businesses outside of its current customer base. The Lakeside
location’s prime position along the I-370 corridor makes it an ideal choice for companies needing to store
and ship products by land, rail, or air.

“We’re thrilled to offer this additional service to the market,” said BCI CEO Troy Compardo. “This larger
facility enhances our operational efficiencies and enables us to support businesses in the region better.
Every partnership we build through this new service will ultimately help us further our mission of
providing opportunities for people with disabilities.”

BCI Packaging, a contract packaging and light manufacturing firm that employs 250 adults with
intellectual and developmental disabilities, is the home of BCI’s organizational employment program.
The nonprofit also runs two other employment programs that result in competitive, integrated
employment in the community.

“From 20 pallets to 2,000, we can meet a wide range of warehousing needs,” said BCI Chief Sales Officer
Brian Corrigan. “In addition to standard 40” x 48” x 56” pallets, we can handle a variety of oversized
pallets for both short- and long-term storage.”
