Cuivre River State Park will host a ribbon cutting event for the updated interpretive classroom in the Visitor’s Center on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. Made possible by a grant from Toyota/Bodine Aluminum, the updated interpretive area will feature hands-on displays and activities, live animals, and displays of historic artifacts. The interpretive classroom will feature an area that can be utilized for special programs and traveling exhibits. After the ribbon cutting, join us for refreshments and remarks from Carol Comer, Director of the Department of Natural Resources, and Ben Ellis, the Missouri State Park Director.

The new classroom will feature rotating displays that will change seasonally. The park will host traveling exhibits, special programs, guest speakers, and art displays throughout the year.
